Please read these terms carefully before using our services. By accessing Remotassist, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Remotassist platform, website, or any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client") and Remotassist ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These terms apply to all users of the platform, including but not limited to businesses, individuals, and organizations that subscribe to any of our service plans.

By signing up, booking a consultation, or using any Remotassist service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself or your organization.

Services Description

Remotassist provides remote staffing solutions including, but not limited to, General Virtual Assistance, Virtual CPA, Legal Assistance, Content Writing, Digital Services, E-Commerce Support, Marketing, Advertisement Management, Inbound Call Handling, Store Surveillance Monitoring, Website Services, and Audio & Text Documentation.

The specific services rendered are determined by the subscription plan selected by the Client and any additional services agreed upon in writing. Remotassist reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service offering at any time with reasonable notice to existing clients.

  • All services are delivered remotely by trained, vetted Remotassist staff members.
  • Service availability may vary based on plan tier and geographic location.
  • Specialist tasks such as web development, design, and project management are billed separately at the applicable specialist rate.
  • Remotassist does not guarantee specific outcomes or results from services rendered.

User Obligations

As a Client of Remotassist, you agree to the following obligations to ensure a productive and professional working relationship:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and throughout your engagement with Remotassist.
  • Treat all Remotassist staff members with professionalism, respect, and dignity at all times.
  • Not assign tasks that are illegal, unethical, or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of any login credentials or account access provided by Remotassist.
  • Promptly notify Remotassist of any issues, disputes, or concerns through the appropriate channels.
  • Not attempt to directly hire, solicit, or recruit any Remotassist staff member outside of the Remotassist platform during or after your engagement.

Violation of any of the above obligations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

Payment & Billing

All subscription fees are charged on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan selected. Prices are as listed on our Pricing page and are subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

  • Payment is accepted via ACH Direct Debit or credit/debit card. Credit card payments incur a processing fee of 2.9%.
  • All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated.
  • Invoices are issued at the beginning of each billing cycle.
  • Overdue payments may result in suspension of services until the outstanding balance is cleared.
  • Specialist tasks are billed separately at $76/hr and invoiced at the end of each month.

Remotassist operates on a subscription model. By subscribing, you authorize Remotassist to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription.

Subscription & Cancellation

Clients may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to billing@remotassist.com or through the client dashboard.

  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
  • Annual plan subscribers who cancel before the end of the term are not entitled to a pro-rata refund unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Remotassist reserves the right to cancel or suspend a subscription if a Client is found to be in violation of these Terms.
  • Upon cancellation, access to the client dashboard and assigned staff will be discontinued at the end of the billing period.

Confidentiality

Remotassist understands that Clients may share sensitive business information, trade secrets, financial data, and proprietary materials with their assigned staff. All Remotassist team members are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

Remotassist agrees not to disclose, share, or use any Client confidential information for any purpose other than delivering the agreed services. This obligation survives the termination of the service agreement.

Clients are equally expected to maintain confidentiality regarding Remotassist's internal processes, staff personal information, and proprietary methodologies.

Intellectual Property

Any work product, content, documents, or materials created by Remotassist staff on behalf of a Client during the course of the engagement are considered work-for-hire and ownership transfers to the Client upon full payment of all outstanding fees.

Remotassist retains ownership of all proprietary tools, templates, systems, methodologies, and processes used internally to deliver services. Clients are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, or reverse-engineer any Remotassist proprietary materials.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Remotassist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption.

Remotassist's total aggregate liability to any Client for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client in the three months preceding the claim.

Remotassist does not guarantee specific business outcomes, revenue targets, or results from the use of our services. All services are provided on a best-efforts basis.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Remotassist and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of our services.

Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement by providing written notice. Remotassist reserves the right to terminate any account immediately and without notice in cases of:

  • Breach of these Terms and Conditions.
  • Non-payment of fees after written notice.
  • Abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior toward Remotassist staff.
  • Use of Remotassist services for illegal or fraudulent purposes.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York, NY.

Changes to Terms

Remotassist reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to existing clients via email and posted on our website with the updated effective date. Continued use of our services after notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
